DevelopmentCurrently NeTAMS is developed by two persons: Anton Vinokurov and Jura Shkandybin. About ten people some day sent us their patches, modules or web interfaces, many people are participating in discussion of hot questions at out forum.Quality first! We are making reliable, fast and flexible program. NeTAMS daemon have built-in debugging features, memory manager, extended state diagnostics. For such a small developer team we have a full set of tools for enterprise software development: CVS repository (public and private), bug tracking system, customer support forum, mailing list, CVS-managed web site, automatic backup of database and repository. For unit testing, the following platforms are in use: FreeBSD 5.3-R, Linux Fedora Core 3, Debian/GNU Linux 3.0, NetBSD 2.0, OpenBSD 3.6, Solaris 10/x86 (all under VmWare), Solaris9/sparc, FreeBSD 4-STABLE, FreeBSD-HEAD (SMP).NeTAMS was lanunched primary for research purposes. It means that authors are mostly interested in new modern features; requests to add "a small button here" are not so attractive. Current copy of TODO document could be taken from Web CVS: http://www.netams.com/cvs/cvsweb.cgi/netams/doc/TODO.txt. You can also subscribe to our mailing list (send empty email to netams-subscribe@netams.com), which is devoted to code updating and various ongoing work progress questions. If you are interested in some new particular feature, or just want to support us, see here. Please don't be lazy to fill up our survey form, where report on your system and NeTAMS usage. | |
